According to International Labour Organisation, more number of work place accidents happens at construction sites across the world. Call it lack of knowledge on safety measures or lack of availability of protective equipments or lack of trained staff to prevent accidents.
As the saying goes, “Prevention is better than cure,” it is prudent to take measures to prevent accidents at construction sites rather than reacting after the accidents. These accidents occur majorly due to human errors or machine failures, which can be prevented by systematic training of construction workers.

The course covers main legal requirements relating to health and safety in international construction work, identification and control of construction workplace hazards and the practical application of this knowledge. There is no previous health and safety knowledge required to join the course. However, it is advisable that candidates should possess the basic practical knowledge of construction.
